About Us

Global Chamber of Consumer Rights ( GCCR ) is a registered, non-profit organisation created to Promote, Protect & Propagate (PPP) the interests of consumers.
The aim of G C C R is to provide complete awareness and guidance on the rights and privileges of a consumer in our society.
Owing to rapidly changing economy and consumerism there is imminent need for an independent non-political and non-commercial organisation to voice the issues that impact consumers in the economy by exercising the rights of consumers to be represented and heard before decisions affecting them are taken.

GCCR postulates wide range of activities such as educating consumers with a view to bring awareness and changing their attitudes and consumerism.
The main objective of this Chamber of Consumer Rights is to provide maximum awareness to the consumer who utilize the different sectors like Medical, Education, Infrastructure, Retail, Information Technology, Media & Communication etc.
Extending Support to Government by informing the Govt. Agencies about adulteration, artificial scarcity, inferior quality products and other such evils help the Government.

Providing consumers with relevant information about products and services, identifying, monitoring and exposing erroneous service providers, claims and offerings.
Providing prior and relevant information to consumers about the authenticity of product and protect them.
Providing special education to women about consumerism.
Encouraging to follow desirable consumption standards.

GCCR Operations

GCCR operates nation-wide by having state level and region level chapters. To ensure due representation, GCCR has Individuals, Institutions, Government bodies and Corporate on its advisory panel panning across Education, Realty and Infrastructure developments, Urban planning agencies, Medical Councils and Associations, Pharmaceutical associations, Supreme Court and High Court Judges, Jurists, Law faculty, Advocates, Research Scholars, Farmers, total Media and Communications, Whole sale and Retails etc.

We also research , monitor and identify ethical and non-ethical products and services.
Consumer Rights and Human Rights act as the two sides of the same coin.
No amount of written legislation and acts can protect consumer interests unless they are implemented in letter and sprit.
Campaigning in response to matters affecting consumer rights.

Advocating for the interest of consumers at relevant national, regional and international platforms.
Integrating with other NGOs on consumer issues of shared concern and intrest.
Extending support to Government by informing the government agencies about adulteration, artificial scarcity, inferior quality products and other such evils help the government.

Our Primary Step : GCCR believes that inculcation of awareness into students regarding their human and consumer rights is the most efficacious and sustainable method of creating effective consumer awareness in India. Imparting knowledge through incentive driven university and high school level education platforms by creating nation, state and district centric study modules which would provide students scholarship and social recognition for effective completion of the course if the first steps towards achieving the objective of GCCR.
